Area; SW of Branford, accessed off U.S. 27 on C.R. 405,
then C.R. 360, then Digger's Ridge Road to Crapps
Tower Road, then E and S on East Mainline Road. Entire
area burned very hot in 2001; ex pine plantation,
historically sandhill-like dryish flatwoods mosaic with
swampy depressions; now very open, treeless; with
Quercus minima. Q. aeminata. Serenoa. Ilex glabra. Iva
microcephala. Also with Centella. Xvris spp., Rhexia spp.
Panicum anceps. Polvoala rugelii. P. lutea. Lachnanthes.
