Liana, 15 m high with abundant white latex. Leaves leathery,
upper side glossy, dark green, lower side almost dull, very pale
green with greenish white hairs.
Pedicel medium green. Calyx reddish green. Corolla tube pale
pink-red but somewhat greenish yellow at very base, lobes on
outer side pink-red, inner side dark pinkish red, margins pink
with white hairs, throat dark red. Inner side of tube in upper
half dark red, lower half (more or less formed by filaments)
pale green. Anthers pale greenish yellow. Ovary very pale
green, style whitish. Flowers smell like cinnamon.
