NETHERLANDS ANTILLES, BONAIRE, Sorobon; near
Sorobon Resort, along the road. Mangrove area on sand and
corallimestone. Species abundant on both sides along the roa
on one side a few 100 m onto the coast, on the other side oni
small harbour.
12°05.6'N, 68° 14.2'W
Small shrub, 0,5-1 m tall; branches trailing from the central
root, later upright. Leaves leathery, alternate, deciduous al<
and crowded at the tip of branches, yellowish green, yellow
when falling. Flowers white, ca. 18 mm x ca. 14 mm. Frui
yellowish green when young, dark purple when ripe, ovoi
orbicular, ca. 15 mm long.
