Shrub 6 m. tall, 8.5 cm. in diameter, 20 years old, this about
the maximum size here where apparently a clone is being
overgrown by Juniperus virginiana, Celtis occidentalis,
Morns alba, near base of S-facing Wisconsin River valley
bluff. Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw,
MEXUw, RSAw. Compare habit with a cl^ne of much
shorter shrubs in open grassy area nearby, collected as no.
