Swampy woods with Thuja occidentalis, Picea, Abies
balsamea, Betula papyrifera, Alnus, Caltha palustris,
Sphagnum.
Tree 7 m. tall, 11 cm. in diameter, 24 years old, with
straight, erect trunk. Wood lightly aromatic. Voucher for
wood specimen, Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw, RSAw.
