GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Kako River vicinity, above Kako Village,
near Camp 3, ca. 22 air km east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534m, N
5°33'27.1", W 60°59'34.7"). 521 m 5°34'25.1MN 60°47'47.3"W.
Brocchina and Stegolepis savanna with drier shrub islands around rock
outcrops. Adjacent to savanna collected on July 1, but separated by a
creek and scrub buffer. Erect herb. Leaf bases dull red-brown.
Inflorescence scapose, clustered at tip of scape. Perigynium tan, nutlet
brown. Silica sample.
