Holst 2013 Guyana, Cuyuni-Mazaruni, Along the banks of Cara Creek and small islands in creek, beginning at 5°32'50.3"N, 60°53'47.9" W and 506 m elevation (south of Camp 4); tributary of Kako River, near border with Venezuela. 5° 32' 43" N, 60° 54' 10" W. Elev. 543 m. Islands formed from gravel bars, prone to scouring, rich in herbs and shrubs. Rock substrate of pink sandstone and red chert. K.M. Redden 6901 8 July 2010 with: K. J. Wurdack, S. N.
