Palomar Range, Agua Tibia Wilderness Area, Arroyo Seco drainage
on northern flank of Agua Tibia Mountain at the north base of
Wildhorse Peak, along the Wildhorse Trail near the northeastern
corner of the Wilderness. T8S R1W center sec. 26. Near
33h26'52"N 116n57’20"W. Elev. ca. 2200 feet.
Chaparral on slopes of Adenostoma fasciculatum, A. sparsifolium,
Ceanothus crassifolius, C. leucodermis, Arctostaphylos glandulosa,
Quercus berberidifolia, and Eriodictyon crassifolium recovering
from the 1989 fire.
Delicate annual, flowers white. Locally common on open xeric
slopes.
