Air Force Base; about 3.5 miles east southeast of
Shiloh, west side of Silver Creek near south side of
road at south side of airport taxi runway, vicinity of
firefighting training center. Lebanon 7.5 minute
U.S.G.S. quadrangle. Elevation 410-430 feet. Alluvial
soil, moist to wet clay loam, stream - river terrace.
Floodplain forest, disturbed, with Fraxinus
pennsylvanica, Que reus spp. Cary a laciniosa, Acer
saccharinum, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Comus
drummondii. Infrequent, local biennial-perennial
herb to 1 meter tall, flowers blue, showy.
