GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Imbaimadai vicinity. Unnamed creek (3rd
creek from Imbaimadai traveling toward Chi-Chi Falls, on left side of
Mazaruni). 1.22 miles Southeast from base camp at base of tepui. 584 m.
5°36'4.3"N 60°12'51.2"W. Primary, alluvial forest. White sand and
sandstone. Eperua and Dicymbe dominant,. Tree, 5 m tall, 8 cm dbh.
Inflorescence in axis of leaves. Fruiting specimen only. Berries white
turning pink then dark purple at maturity. Calyx persistent.
