Lobelia inflata L.
Botanical survey of “un-named fells” above Rocky Bottom
Creek. Plants collected on rocky ledge and along the side of
waterfall. From the community of Rocky Bottom, follow
unnamed creek upstream through a mesic/hemlock forest;
then midway up the creek you would walk through a large
“boulder field” with some grasses, Christmas ferns, Carex
spp., Aster spp., Hydrangea sp., etc., and soon you would
fight your way through mountain laurel thicket to the fells
