Cultivated in 2 Vi x 10 ft wooden planter on east side of house as an edging. Flowering plants obtained from Frank’s Nursey and Crafts (Woodridge, Illinois) on 10 May 1992; planted same day. Herbage green; latex white; hypanthium & calyx lobes dark green; corolla deep royal blue, each sinus of the lower lip with a prominent white and yellow spot; filaments blue, anthers gray. Thomas G.
