  • Habitat

    In open on southwest-facing slope. With Pseudotsuga menziesii, Yucca angustissima, Penstemon eatoni, P. navajoa, Erigeron kachinensis, Pinus ponderosa, Heuchera parvifolia utahensis, Sedum lanceolatum, Symphoricarpos oreophilus, Juniperus communis, Berberis repens, Acer negundo, A. grandidentatum, Populus tremuloides, Smilacina stellata, Viola adunca, Mertensia franciscana, Clematis columbiana, Lithospermum multiflorum, Cryptantha flavoculata, Ipomopsis aggregata, Holodiscus dumosus, Quercus gambelii, Castilleja linariifolia, Lupinus argenteus palmeri, Balsamorhiza sagittata. Locally common herbaceous perennial on west-facing bank of narrow sandstone drainage.
