Hill Dec. 2000 Campanulaceae ILLINOIS: LASALLE COUNTY 41° 18' 38" N, 88° 57' 15 W; Starved Rock 7.5 min. quad., T. 33 N., R. 2 E., NW/4, NE/4, NE/4, sec. 26 and adjacent sec. 23. Starved Rock State Park, W of South Ottawa; vicinity of Hennepin Canyon, NE quadrant of crossing of IL Rt. 71, S of Illinois River. Elev. 168-186 m (550-610 ft). Sandstone caprock, in crevices at top of vertical cliffs at top of waterfall. Sandstone cliffs, ferns (Cystopteris spp.), Heuchera, Juniperus virginiana.
