Gallery forest on mixed brown/white sand. Fabaceae,
Malpighiaceae, Lecythidaceae, Vochysiaceae and Rubiaceae
dominant trees. Liana. Inflor. in axis of leaves, raceme. Sepals
purple; banner petal purple with yellow nectar guides, wings and
keel light purple. Fruit green, erect.
