from Villa Tunari to Cochabamba, 4.7 km (by road) SW of
bridge over Rio Antahuacana.
17°07’31”S, 65°41’33’W. alt. 1065 m.
Humid evergreen forest.
Shrub. Young stems with pseudostipules, but these soon
caducous, before the leaves Vi full size and still tender.
Inflorescence in prominent axillary fascicles in every leaf
axil. Corolla yellow-green. Flowers spicy fragrant, some
open (1:15 P.M.), but may be because the shrub had
recently been cut by the road crew.
