Herb, up to 1.30m high. Stems red-violet with some green.
Young stems pale green violet with grey wax. Leaves dark
green above, green beneath.
Male flowers grey-green with yellow stamens. Female flowers
grey-green with red pistils. Fruits grey-green to grey brown.
Cultivated in the collection garden of the Department of
Agriculture, ENSA, Nkolbisson, Cameroon.
