The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Solanaceae Solanum argentinum Bitter & Lillo det. M. Nee, 2008 Depto. Santa Cruz, Prov. Cordillera, 8.5 km NE of Ipita, along highway from Abapo to Camiri. 19°16’55”S, 63°28’45”W. alt. 875 m. Dry chaco forest in valley bottom, roadside with very short vegetation and some shrubs, Gomphrena martiana, Croton andinus, Solanum argentinum. Shrub 2 m. tall. Leaves more yellow-green than no. 55759 probably because of poorer growing conditions, but leaves are consistently less pubescent. Fruit yellow. Coll.: M. Nee, G. Alexander Parada G. & G.
