Pedro Lorenzo on old dirt road to Cabezas and Abapó.
17°59’06”S, 63°14’35”W. alt. 550 m.
Disturbed dry forest and brushy areas, with surrounding
cattle pastures, slightly rolling topography, fine sandy and
clay soil. With Helicteres Ihotskyana, Lonchocarpus
pluvialis, Prockia crucis, Manihot anómala.
Tree 12 m. tall, 20 cm. in diameter; common here and gets
taller. Inflorescence erect. Flower buds pale yellow; open
flowers lighter and creamy.
