Perennial herb; submerged leaves 2.5 mm wide x 70 mm long,
floating leaves 7 mm wide x 32 mm; achene reticulate, coiled with
slight wing; associated species Schoenoplectus pungensi Ludwigia
altemifolia, Pontederia cordata, and Juncus articulatus.
