pure sand ~9 meters from shore. (41.07453^, 7i.87043°W).
Herb; tepals white or pink; ochrea brown-burgundy; leaves gray-
green, involute with tiny teeth along margins; stems grooved and
somewhat anthocyanic; achene black & glossy; growing in
association with Salsola kali, Ammophila breviligulata, Mollugo
verticillata, Chenopodium berlandieri var. macrocalycium and
Euphorbia polygonifolia.
