Dense willow/shrub/birch understory. Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Artemisia, Lupinus arcticus, Juniperus communis subsp. depressa, Shepherdia canadensis, Pyrola grandiflora, Betula glandulosa. Locally common in openings in forest and meadow at forest edge along creek.
