    Flats on west side of Fockler Creek, above spruce forest in creek valley. Betula-heath-lupine tundra, fairly dry. Dwarf shrubs, birches and willows 2-3 ft. Lupinus arcticus, Betula glandulosa, Vaccinium uliginosum, Rhododendron tomentosum subsp. decumbens, Rhododendron lapponicum. Common but scattered.
