Habitat
Dry, rocky ridge crest 8-10 ft. in width and extending the length of the ridge, buffered by dense Betula thickets on slopes below crest and flats above crest. Arnica angustifolia, Dasiphora fruticosa, Calamagrostis purpurascens, Arctous rubra, Oxytropis hyperborea, Empetrum nigrum, Carex rupestris. Locally common.
