Petals very short, not spreading, white veined
or slightly tinted with pink or all white, an-
thers -white, pollen yellow, stamdns and styles
very short. Serpentine talus with Quercus durata,
Garrya Congdonii, Arctostaphylos sp. scattered
Douglas Fir, and Ponderosa Pine, altitude 2£0Q
ft. About one mile below Virgilia, £*ast Bsanch
of North Fork of Feather River, Plumas County.
