Calamus pseudomollis Beccari
Stems clustered, 5 m long, 2 cm diameter. Sheaths densely covered with needle-like spines, these
longer and erect at sheath apex; flagella well-developed; petioles 15 cm long; rachises 71 cm
long; pinnae 38 per side of rachis, regularly arranged. Inflorescences staminate, 129 cm long;
partial inflorescences bracts with spines at apex.
