Calamus (C. inops1?)
Stems solitary, 35 m long, 4 cm diameter. Sheaths non-spiny, brown tomentose initially; petioles
21 cm long; rachises 150 cm long; pinnae 60 per side of rachis, regularly arranged, with brown
spinules on veins ad- and abaxially; distal pinnae reduced. Inflorescences staminate, 57 cm long,
inserted near sheath apex, branched to 3 orders.
