Calamus sp.
Stems solitary, 4 m long, 2.5 cm diameter. Sheaths green with gray, powdery tomentum, and
short, swollen-based spines; petioles 10 cm long; rachises 89 cm long; pinnae 11 per side of
rachis, irregularly arranged, broadly elliptic, the distal ones not reduced; cirri spines more or less
regularly arranged.
