Areca vestiaria Giseke	harao, puha
Stems solitary, 12 m tall, 9 cm diameter, with stilt roots at the base. Sheaths, swollen, 90 cm
long, bright orange-red; petioles 21 cm long; rachises 237 cm long; pinnae 24 per side of rachis,
regularly arranged. Inflorescences infrafoliar, whitish at anthesis.
