Calamus posoanus Rustiami	haruku
Stems solitary, 15 m long, 4 cm diameter. Sheaths densely covered with soft, flexible, needle-
like spines in rows; petioles 21 cm long; rachises 112 cm long; pinnae 10 per side of rachis,
elliptic, distantly but regularly arranged, with numerous vestigial spinules all over abaxial
surface; cirri spines regularly arranged in groups. Old inflorescence only present.
