NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN PALMS OF SULAWESI Indonesia. Sulawesi Tengah: Parigi Regency, road from Tawaeli to Toboli, Wentira, disturbed forest on steep slope, 00°43.098’S, 120°03.259’E, 423 m elevation. 14 October 2017. Calamus koordersianus Beccari Stems solitary, 8 m long, 2.5 cm diameter. Sheaths green with horizontal spines; flagella well- developed; petioles 59 cm long, without a groove on adaxial surface; rachises 120 cm long; pinnae 59 per side of rachis, closely and regularly arranged. Sterile plant. This species common around here. A.
