Calamus didymocarus Warburg ex Beccari	urap
Stems solitary, 25 m long, 3.7 cm diameter. Sheaths mottled green and white, with dense,
triangular, black spines; knees less spiny; petioles 20 cm long; rachises 231 cm long; pinnae 27-
28 per side of rachis, regularly arranged, stiff, leathery, with small spinules on midvein only,
with numerous vestigial spinules all over abaxial surface; distal pinnae vestigial; cirri spines
regular. Pistillate inflorescences 397 cm long; fruits white.
