Calamus didymocarpus Warburg ex Beccari	lauro pai
Stems solitary, 30 m long, 3.2 cm diameter. Sheaths mottled green and brown; knees green, not
spiny; ocrea fringed; petioles 23 cm long; rachises 198 cm long; pinnae 28 per side of rachis,
regularly arranged, leathery, not reduced distally, with numerous vestigial spinules all over
abaxial surface. Inflorescences 300 cm long; rachis bracts tubular; fruits whitish.
