Sulawesi Tengah: Sigi Regency, Lore Lindu National Park, Gunung Nokilalaki, near Camp 1, undisturbed forest on steep slopes, 0ri3.408’S, 120'09.653’E, 1055 m elevation. 6 December 2017. Calamus didymocarpus Warburg ex Beccari putih Stems clustered, 10 m long, 3 cm diameter. Sheaths mottled green and white with numerous, short, triangular, black, horizontal spines; knees not spiny; petioles 20 cm long; rachises 158 cm long; pinnae 25 per side of rachis, regularly arranged, thick and leathery, relatively wide, without spinules on veins; distal pinnae not reduced nor vestigial; cirri spines more or less irregular.
