natans), and submerged basal rosette (Najas
flexilis, Sagittaria cuneata) or flexuous-
stemmed (Heteranthera dubia, Vallisneria
americana, Scirpus subterminalis) aquatics
giving way in deeper water to six entirely
submersed Potamogeton spp. (£. friesii,
.P. strictifolius, _P. pusillus, £. amplif.).
