In rocky, alluvial soil on SE-facing creekbank with Berberis.
Pseudotsuaa. Acer. Alnus & Thuja. Rhizomes + erect; leaves
deeply 1-pinnate-pinnatifid, petioles up to 1/3 length of the leaf;
pinnae apices obtuse, the apical tooth larger than subapical;
proximal pinnules sessile; microscales linear-lanceolate, more
common on abaxial surface; indusia peltate with erase margins;
spores well-formed.
