Stream gently meandering in mixed evergreen-
deciduous forest, 15-40 feet wide, 1-3 feet
deep, bottom sand to cobbles; vegetation mostly
near banks: Potamogeton pectinatus, P. gram-
ineus ?, P. amplifolius, P. richardsonii, P,
alpinus, Ranunculus trichophyllus, Sparganium
sp.
North Branch of the Pike River between U. S.
Highway 8 and old CTH at Carney Rapids.
