Stream 50-100 feet wide, 1-6 feet deep, water
brownish but clear, bottom mostly gravel to
rocky. Aquatic vegetation locally abundant,
especially below 2nd rapids area below Little
Bull Falls: Sparganium dominant; Potamogeton
richardsonii, P. zosteriformis, P. foliosus,
P. gramineus, P. alpinus, P. nodosus (?),
Heteranthera dubia, Sagittaria cuneata,
Elodea, Callitriche verna.
Popple River: between Little and Big Bull
Falls. . Sections 13, 14 and 23, R.16E.-T.38N.
