Flathead Co.: Upper Stillwater Lake by the campground;? 33 N, R
24 W, SE of SE Sec. 23; El 3176 ft. Water depth 1 to 6 ft.,
conductivity 200, Ph 8.7, and temperature at bottom 60 f. This
species had 30 % cover and was 2 ft. tall. It was growing with
Myriophyllum and Elodea canadensis in a Potamogeton natans ct.
The deeper site was occupied by a Elodea canadensis ct. and is
below the thermodine. The drier site_had a Carex utriculata ht.
followed by a Abies lasiocarpa/Clintonia uniflora ht. in the^upland
area.
