Habitat
Subtropical, semi-deciduous "Chaco" forest, 4-8 m tall, dense, spiny, briefly inundated in the rainy season, very flat, the soil fine, sandy and silty, Bumelia obtusifolia, Capparis tweediana, Reichenbachia hirsuta.

Description
Shrub, not viny, 2 m tall, but with long straight sprout shoots. Fruit light green.
