In standing water; in beaver impoundment on flood-
plain on south side of Beaverdam Creek; bounded by
steep, north- and west-facing slopes. Site #77 (Lat.
34°04,47"; Long. 82°40T05"), ca. 0.5 mile due south
of the County Road 244 bridge over Beaverdam Creek.
Area to be impounded to form proposed Russell Lake
(full pool, 475-ft. contour) in mid-1980*s.
