Refuge. Common, forming large yellowish-green colonies
suspended just below surface of water (with Spirodela
polyrhiza floating on top of the colonies!) in swamp
by Road E, 1 mi NW of culvert connecting Lake no. 3
and Lake no. 4 on southcentral portion of island.
