Description
Herb 0.9-1.9 m. Leaf blade dark green with velvety sheen above, midrib whitish green; purple below. Pulvinus deep olive-green, articulate; petiole green or tinged reddish brown; sheath green or tinged maroon. Bracts initially green, turning dark brown at apex. Sepals white below, red-purple apically. Corolla and staminodes light yellow. Style pale yellow, turning dark after tipping. Ovary white. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
