No. 7903, collected May 30, in a meadow about two miles I northeast of Redding, Shasta county. * The calyx in maturity is ovate, 12 mm. long'including the apiculation of 3 mm., 5 or 6 i mm. across: pods about '4 cm. long, and the seeds as described. [ So far as locality is concerned this should be B. shastensis, but • does not answer to the description of that species. 03675838
