Type for flower, Baker, 2921, from near Elmira, Solano
| county; seeds from a specimen from Antioch, Contra Costa
county.
No. 7903, collected May 30, in a meadow about two miles
-northeast of Redding, Shasta county. The calyx in maturity is
©vate, 12 mm long including the apiculation of 3 mm., 5 or 6
ftnin. across: pods about 4 cm. long, and the seeds as described.
So far as, locality is concerned this should be E. shastensis, but
does not answer to the description of that species.
