Deciduous forest on steep slope, over limestone, Fraxinus
americana, Acer saccharum, Quercus rubra, Tilia
americana, Prunus serótina, Ostrya virginiana, Carya
ovata.
Stems and petioles mottled purple. Spathe green on outside,
darp purple within, with light green stripes. Visible terminal
part of the spadix light green or purple-mottled.
