Flora of the Paumonek Wetland, Long Island Arisaema triphyllum (L.) Schott NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School. Near the intersection of Paumonek Drive and Jericho Turnpike. Growing in humus rich, very moist soil in a broad, shallow, highly disturbed gravelly stream bed. Part of the stream is flowing in water. Plants are extremely large. Fruits red. In an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Fraxinus, Impatiens capensis, Acer rubrum, and Lindera benzoin. Je* yo*v BOTANICAL sParde^ Matthew C.
