North side of Route 1-24 near rest area, downslope near tributary of Trussell Creek, Monteagle [Cumberland Plateau]. Elevation 1600 feet. Coordinate Datum: WGS84/NAD83. Steep rocky talus slope with large sandstone boulders and pockets of humus between. Rocky mesic forest, diverse and good quality; with Trillium spp., Polymnia, Aesculus, Arisaema. Leaves dull green, glaucous beneath; spathe green with dark purple-black stripes, spadix dark purplish-black; from a firm hemispheric corm; rather common. Steven R. Hill 38396 03694124
