  • Description

    Pileus 2-6 cm broad, depressed on the disc with incurved margin, becoming decurved and uplifted with age, viscid, with agglutinated fibrils toward margin, burnt siena (7D8) on the disc, paler toward the margin Sahara brown to grayish orange (6C5-5B4), lightly sulcate at margin with age, barely subzonate at the margin in some. Flesh white, unchanging or slowly to a very pale pinkish brown, with white unchanging latex, slowly acrid. Lamellae subdecurrent, subdistant, occasionally forked, white to orange white (5A2), with even edges. Stipe 3-6 cm long, 8-10 mm broad, equal, curved, viscid, glabrous, with a rare scrobiculation, concolorous with pileus (pale colors above and darker colors below); interior hollow, changing as in pileus.
