Description
Pileus 2.5-6 cm broad, convex with a depressed disc, and incurved margin when young, depressed on disc with decurved to uplifted margin with age, viscid to subglutinous, possibly fibrillose under gluten, (6C-D7-6-5) over disc, paler (6B4) toward margin. Flesh pale pinkish white, unchanging, up to 5 mm thick, exuding a white latex that is unchanging, with mild odor and slightly acrid taste. Lamellae adnate to subdecurrent, close, white at first becoming pinkish flesh color with age, exuding white latex when cut, unchanging, with even edges. Stipe 3-7 cm long, 1-1.5 cm broad, ±equal, sometimes compressed, brittle, viscid to subglutinous, glabrous under gluten, sometimes scrobiculate, concolorous with pileus to somewhat paler, with hollow interior. Collected previously at Villa Mills.
